So ever since I started keeping a blog I haven't been good at journaling AT ALL! I've always been an avid journaler and so I'm going to start using this as a mini journal, so I'm sorry if it gets a little boring to read but I need to keep a record somewhere, so here goes!
Monday was my first real day at my new Monday job and it was fabulous! Everyone at the office was so nice and made me feel right at home! It's been a slow process, but I finally have all the work I've been wanting and my office all ROCK!
Tuesday I finally got my new car! AHHH I love it. It worked out way too perfectly and now I have an amazing cranberry red 2010 Subaru Impreza. It is in amazing condition.......and has seat heaters...... and I couldn't be happier. Meet the red rocket:
I had to drive straight to Centerville after we finished all the paperwork. There was a little snow-storm on the way and for the first time ever I wasn't scared to drive in it, GLORIOUS! We picked up Jamyn and Pres for dinner and went to Pawits!
Wednesday after work we had dinner at the Millers and then took the car to show it off to my parents.
Thursday I worked and then met up with some girlfriends I went to Africa with. I can't believe it's been 2 1/2 years since we went to Africa. I love those girls so much and am so glad we've been able to stay close! I spent the rest of the night shopping for my sister's birthday......with no success dang it!
On Friday I filled in at an office. I have worked 5 days a week the past 2 weeks and although I'm exhausted I'm SO grateful for all the work I've been getting like lately! I went shopping again for Whit and finally found something adorable! That night Blake and I went up to Park City with my fam for Whit's birthday. We had a yummy dinner at Flying Sumo and then went to see the movie Arthur, which was hilarious!
On Saturday I went to Blake's rugby game and they beat Air Force 30-22, yay my man is the best! This is Blake at the end of the game leading the team in the shout-out to the fans:
Lisa and Logan came up that night to play. We're trying to get in all the time together that we can because they're going to do summer sales in DC in less than 2 weeks. We grabbed a delicious dinner at Texas Roadhouse and then went back to the house to dye Easter eggs. This is one of many of Lisa's and my traditions!
My rendition of Lisa, pretty impressive I know!
Love dying eggs!
Today, this is what happens when you have an OCD husband (which I am VERY grateful for). Our pantry was very crowded and unorganized so my cute man cleaned the entire thing out and reorganized it. It looks fabulous now, yay! ..........and yes that is 4 boxes of oatmeal haha!
Its been a great week! Now we're off to Nick and Kesha's to go celebrate Whit's birthday!
