Fun At The Lakehouse

  Things are going great at home with our sweet baby girl.  She is still such an angel and we don't know what we ever did to deserve her!  I went to a baby shower for a friend at work last week.  Ruby was so sweet and loved playing with all my friends, especially Babs!  

I LOVE when she is over your shoulder and holds her head up, it is the cutest!  She always opens her brights eyes sooo big and wrinkles her cute little forehead, melt me!!!

Miller family reunion.  The weather was great and it was fun to see everyone!

 We went up to the lakehouse with the fam to check up on the lakehouse progress.  It is coming along and is looking amazing! We still have no furniture so we brought camping chairs and had a picnic all together.  We had a blast!

It was such a fun weekend spending time with the family.  We are the luckiest!!

1 month

I can't believe my baby is already a month old!  Where does time go?!?  I can't imagine my life without her, she has been such a blessing in our lives.  She is an angel baby and makes being a mommy so fun!

Ruby at 1 month:

-Loves to snuggle, especially laying on her tummy on daddy's chest while he pats her back.
-Loves to go for walks outside
-Has the biggest most beautiful eyes and I think they are going to be blue
-FINALLY lost her umbellical cord after 3 1/2 weeks, we thought it was never coming off!
-Loves to lay on the counter and watch mom get ready in the mornings

-Is starting to smile, usually only does it in the morning right after her feeding
-Loves to be rocked in the "baby blessing" hold
-Loves tubby time now that she can fully submerge
-Takes a binky really well
-Made breast feeding SO easy for mom
-Loves to listen to James Taylor radio
-Loves to nap in her momma roo
-Is still wearing newborn diapers and cloths, she's our little string bean baby
-LOVES to poop when her diaper is off and it shoots out like a cannon

-Has mom and dad wrapped around her little finger, we are completely obsessed and can't get enough of her!

We celebrated Meredith's birthday, she is growing up way too fast!!

 Our friends Bryce and Jen came to visit and brought their sweet little girl Westyn.  These 2 are just 2 months apart haha!  Regardless of how Ruby's face may look in this picture we know these 2 will be besties!

1st Vacation

We went on our first family vacation over Labor Day weekend and it was a total success!  She did really well on the drive down, we only had to stop once to feed her and she slept the rest of the way.

We stopped to visit Great Grandma Scott on our way into town so she could meet the baby

 Baby girl's cousins are ALWAYS right next to her, even when she's sleeping!

I was a little nervous about going on our first trip with her being so little but it was the best decision ever!  It felt so good to get out of the house and have company all day long.  Everyone was so helpful with the baby and it felt so nice to get outside in the warm weather.  I had no idea how much I really needed that trip and I'm SOOO glad we went!  It couldn't have been more perfect!
