So I already did this blog entry once and stupid blogger decided to delete the whole thing.....so here goes from scratch.....
This month has been super with Blake traveling with work and rugby. I hate not being with him all the time. He is my best friend and I feel like I part of me is missing when he's gone! He needed his computer while he was traveling and so I got a little behind on here again so here a quick catch-up starting where my last post left off (Monday May 2).
On Monday I worked at Dr. Sands office. I seriously don't know what I did to deserve all my wonderful offices. I thought I was lucky to have to fabulous jobs and then this job came along. Everyone in this office makes me feel so at home and I have so much fun. I feel so lucky because there is never a day I dread going to work! After work I went straight to the gym and then Blake and I cooked dinner (and by we I mean Blake cooked and I folded laundry). He is such a sweet husband and is always helping with EVERYTHING! We had a yummy chicken and pasta dinner and then relaxed while we watch the lamest movie ever (Road To McAllister).....yes there are times Netflix definitely doesn't pull through!
On Tuesday morning I went to the gym and then to Dr. Dastrups office to answer phones because he was out of town. I went to Mark Miller Subaru after work to get my speakers fixed because they didn't sound right and were still under warranty. It took FOREVER! When I got home I made a pretty fantastic dinner that was not only beauful, it also tasted amazing! Chicken cranberry braid and a sweet potatoe with homemade honey cinnamon butter:
We watched a movie after and took it easy because I wasn't feeling very good.
On Wednesday I worked at Dr. Johansens and then went to the gym. I'm slowly starting to run again on my knee and its doing surprisingly well, but I'm taking baby steps! When I got home Blake and I started making a delicious fiesta meal for Lindsay Newton's b-day.
She and Olivia came over and had dinner. We had fajaitas with homemade salsa and guacamole and it was delicious. The girls stayed and chatted for a while and it was soooo fun, seriously love those girls!
On Thursday I temped at a new office and it happened to be by Fashion Place Mall so of course I had to go shopping! I found the perfect skirt for Blake's graduation! I went to the gym after and then Blake and I went to Pawits for dinner, which was delicious as always. We went home after and watched a movie.
On Friday I volunteered at Primary Childrens, which is always great. Those kids are adorable! We had Blake's graduation dinner at MacCools (a cute Irish pub by the U).
Merdi loves to help Blake open his presents. He was totally spoiled with great gifts!

A few of us went the the U after to watch Blake walk. Remember the niece and nephew picture.....ya graduation would have been quite chaotic!
It's OFFICIAL!!!!
The Fab Four
We might have left a hair early but it was fun to watch. What better way to celebrate after than a Red Mango parfait:)!!!! After I had to take Blake to the airport for a rugby trip in New York and I wasn't happy about it. Yes, there may have been a few tears shed when I said goodbye to Blake. Ah, I have totally become one of those girls I always made fun of. I hate to be without my husband and I get so sad! He is literally my other half and I feel incomplete when he is gone!
My family put me right to work the next day to keep me busy and my mind off Blake being gone. We repainted my parents deck for my mom for Mothers Day.
The weather was gorgeous and I actually had a lot of fun. It took forever and we were all exhausted when we finally finished! I know it meant the world to my mom and it seriously looked like a new deck! Mom and I went to a late dinner after Pawits and mmmmm that place has never tasted better!!!
On Sunday I cleaned like crazy and then went to church by myself :(. Blake text me and let me know that they won their game 32-26 and I was so happy for him! That means another game next weekend in Colorado against CAL. We have the sweetest man, Ken, in our ward that Blake and I have grown to love and he chatted with me for a bit and was so excited about Blake's big win! I celebrated Mothers Day with my fam that night because Sandy was in New York with Blake. We had a delicious dinner and spent the rest of the evening at Whit and Eddie's. Blake and I gave my mom the cutest Shutterfly card and a massage because that woman works harder than anyone you have ever met and she definitely deserves a massage!

I'm so grateful to have such a wonderful mom that is also my best friend! I was counting down the minutes that night until midnight so I could go pick up Blake, Nana and Pop (Pres and Sandy). It finally came and I couldn't wrap my arms around him fast enough! On the way home we gave Sandy a cute Shutterfly card and an adorable apron, since she is always cooking us such wonderful meals.
Blake and I tried to stay up as late as possible since he was leaving me the next day while I was still at work for a business trip in AZ.
On Monday I worked at Dr. Sands and then went straight to the gym. I came home to the sweetest note on my bed from my husband and it was just what I needed! Cute Sandy knew I was home alone and so she invited me over for dinner. We spent the rest of the night at Scott and Lindsay's new house, which is adorable!
On Tuesday I worked at Dr. Dastrups and then went to the knew Golds Gym in Bountiful which is to die for! I went to Tess', a friend from UVU, shower. It was tea party themed and so cute! It was lovely catching up with old friends! I grabbed some take-out on my way home at my fav, Dasks. I watched our latest Netflix, Nine. The food was great, the movie was totally lame!
On Wednesday I worked at Dr. Johansen and it was just great. I went downtown after the Allison Simmonds wedding dinner at Joseph Smith Memorial Building.
She is one of my best girlfriends from high school. She looked gorgeous and so happy, I'm so excited for her! I got to sit by some old high school friends. It was so fun catching up (even though we already knew most everything thanks to blog stalking haha).
Blake's flight landed while I was at the dinner and so I got to come home to my cute husband and I was SOO excited! I still get major butterflies everytime I see my hot husband! We couldn't get enough of finally being together!!!
On Thursday I worked out at Dr. Dastrup's office. My stomach was feeling a little weird and by the end of the day I wanted to die. Our sweet receptionist, Kaylee, could tell I wasn't feeling to hot and she sent me home a bit early. I was sweating bullets on the way home and seriously thought I was gonna hurl on my way home. I barely made it in the door and ran down the hall to the bathroom before I started barfing. Ugh it was miserable! I took a power nap after and felt a little better when I woke up. Blake wanted to see Scott and Lindsays house so we ran over there for a sec and then all went to dinner at Dasks. It was so nice that we were able to eat outside, yay I love the nice weather! We spent the rest of the night doing laundry and packing for the rugby trip.
Friday morning I was feeling a little better but still not 100%. I took Blake to the bus (Sandy, Pres and I were flying Sat. to meet him). Whit and I ran to a continuing ed for dental hygiene and I got to see one of my old hygiene friends, Megan. It was so fun to see her! Whit and I went to Kesha for the rest of the afternoon. That night I went Nicole's and spent the rest of the evening out there with the Millers. I love that I feel as comfortable with my in-laws as I do with my own family. I love spending time with them! Blake was super jealous that I was having an BBQ and playing with the kids while he was bored in a hotel room in Colorado.
Saturday morning Sandy and Pres picked me up early and we headed to the airport. We had a layover in AZ and the flights seemed to take forever! We finally arrived at our hotel at 4:30 and then went straight to the field with the boys. To say it was cold would be a major understatement. What the heck it's MAY! It poured the entire game. I was NOT dressed for the weather. My shoes soaked up all the water and my feet were in sooo much pain b/c they were so cold. When I took my shoes off after the game my toes were all white and had no blood in them. It hurt sooo bad to thaw them out! The boys played well but it was a tough game against the #1 team in the nation, CAL. They fought hard but in the end weren't able to pull it off.

It's crazy to think that was Blake's last 15's rugby game. It's been such a huge part of our lives and it'll be weird to not have that anymore! I've had so much fun watching his games and am SO proud of the amazing season he's had! After their game we stayed to watch BYU play Arkansas. Thank goodness we were able to sit in the bar and watch it on tv because I couldn't have stayed outside one more minute. We grabbed a late dinner at Cafe Rio and then hit the hay, it was so nice having my husband next to me in bed again! We all had a super early morning, out the door by 4 am, Blake on the bus and us off to the airport. Again we had another long flight with a layover in AZ. I couldn't sleep the entire time so I took a nice nap when I got home and then went to pick Blake up from the bus. Now we are back home and trying to unpack and do more laundry. Life should get back to normal again now and I will have a husband everyday WOOT WOOT!
