Getting Together With Old Friends

    Last Sunday we had a bunch of the Africa friends over to our house for a BBQ and it was so fun!  I can't believe it's been 6 years since we all lived together in Africa, wow time flies!  Although we couldn't have everyone :( we still had a great time!

    Monday I worked at Focus and then went to the gym.  That night Blake and I cooked a yummy pork chop dinner and hung out at the house.

    Tuesday I worked at Johansen and then went to the gym.  When I got home from work my cute visiting teacher stopped by for a visit.  My mom cam by that night.  I made pad thai for all of us and then she helped me brainstorm nursery ideas.

    Wednesday I worked at Johansen and then went to dinner with some of our old Johansen crew.  Chels was in town from Colorado so it gave us the perfect excuse to get together!  Chels is also pregnant and is due 4 days after me, so crazy!  We had dinner at Spaghetti Factory and it was so fun catching up with everyone!

    Thursday I worked at Focus and then had to skip the gym because the dumb Comcast guy "was coming"......after 2 hours I found out he came but I didn't even have to be home, so annoying!  That night we got take-out with Pres and Jamyn at Wild Zuchinni and then went to Blake's boss's house to watch March Madness.  We had so much fun with everyone!

    Friday I went to a dental hygiene conference with Ash and Christy.  They did a great job with the conference.  I ran to the gym after I got home.  That night we had Eric and Aubrey over for dinner.  I made a white lasagna and we had so much fun with them!  They are the best!

    Saturday morning I went to the gym and Blake went to Park City to play in a rugby tournament with Pres and some old rugby friends.  They won and had so much fun!  After he got back we headed to Buy Buy Baby to register. We had sooooo much fun!  We were there forever but I loved every second of it.  It's still crazy to think there will be a sweet little girl using all these fun things we registered for!  Ahhh I can't wait!  After we finished we headed over to dinner Pei Wei.  We were both exhausted when we got home!

  Now we're just relaxing at home and getting ready for church.

1/2 Way Done!!!!

    It's crazy to think that this week we are officially 1/2 way done with the pregnancy!!!  So far the pregnancy has been really fun and enjoyable.  I've been lucky enough to feel really well.  I look forward every week to getting my pregnancy updates to see what our sweet little girl is up to.

How Far Along: 5 months

Baby Size:  The length of a banana, 7 inches and weighs about 11 oz

How I Am Feeling:  Cloths getting a little tighter but still wearing normal pants (although they are usually completely done before the night is over haha).  Starting to get some low back pains.  For the most part though still feeling great!

Weird Cravings:  Nothing too crazy still just eating all day everyday....but the good news is you pretty much always get what you want when it comes to eating if you phrase it......Baby Girl really wants that!

Major Milestones: Finally feeling some little movements.  I feel her most when I'm laying down and really still but every once in a while I will randomly feel her move and its the best!  We also got to have our 20 week ultrasound and so we got to watch her for almost an entire hour, it was amazing!  They took a bunch of measurement, her femur is an inch long!  Everything looked healthy and she is measuring right on track!

    Monday I worked at Focus and then went to the gym.  Blake and I had a laid back night around home.

    Tuesday I worked at Johansen.  Right after I ate lunch I started feeling really sick.  It didn't take long to realize that something in my lunch was bad and I paid the price the rest of the night.  It was a rough night and I was horribly sick all night.  I couldn't eat all night and eventually lost my lunch around 8 and finally started feeling a little relief.

    Wednesday I was feeling much better, just a little weak.  I worked at Johansen and then went home after work, still was feeling a bit weak so decided to skip the gym again.  Blake picked up Macie and Chase and we headed to grab dinner at Zupas and then to watch Jamyn's drill team's final showcase.  We got to see all their dances and they did a great job!  Jamyn worked so hard this year and her team looked great!

    Thursday I worked at Focus and then went to the gym.  That night Blake and I had our temple date night, always one of my favs.  We grabbed dinner after at Cafe Rio

    Friday morning I had piano and then Blake and I went to our ultrasound.  It was soooo fun!  I could have stayed there all day and watched our little sweetheart!  She had so much energy and was moving around like crazy!  I wish we could have an ultrasound at every appt!  I love my little girl so much and cannot wait to meet her!!!!!

Whit and I met up after and went rollerblading at Liberty Park.  It was a little chillier than expected but we still had a blast.  Cute Spencer kept us laughing the whole time!

 Our dumb garage door broke so I met the repair man at our house after while he fixed it, it was super expensive dang it.  Blake worked on the yard when he got home from work until the sun went down.  After he finished we went to grab dinner at a new Thai place out by our house.  It was fun to try a new a place and I always love me some Thai food!

    Saturday morning my sweet husband woke up at the crack of dawn to head to the landfill to get compost for the yard.  I got to ride in the car with him.  We borrowed his dads truck and I always love going for rides in it!  I couldn't help much because I can't do a lot of lifting but I did a few little things I could do.

 I love my cute husband and what a hard worker he is.  He never stops and give his all to everything he does.  I am the luckiest!!  After yard work he headed to Mikko's to play paintball.  I went to the gym and then ran to the grocery store.  That night we went to Grammy Bird's (Lenae, Grammy's sister) birthday party at Trio.  The whole fam came and it was soooo fun.

The Cram sisters, Deanna, Lenae and Marilyn.  These women are such great examples of love and family.  They have done such an amazing job keeping their families close.  We all love being together so much!

 Blake was pretty young when his 2 grandpas and other grandma passed away, so Grammy was really the only grandparent he knew growing up.  Grammy Bird and Pop were like a bonus set of grandparents for him.  They came to all his games and supported him in everything.  We love them so much and are so grateful to have them in our life.

Dental Convention

    Monday I worked at Focus and then went to the gym.  That night Blake and I went to dinner at Brio with his bosses and their wives.  It was such a fun night, they're the best!  I'm so grateful Blake is able to work with such amazing guys that treat him so well and make work such a fun place to be!  After dinner we headed to Nicoles to watch the Bachelor Finale.  Although none of us were huge fans of this season we still love getting together to watch it and make fun of everyone on it haha.

    Tuesday I worked at Johansens and then went to the gym.  That night Blake and I grabbed Costa Vida and then headed to little Mikkos hockey game.  I used to think that the Olympic Oval was out in the middle of nowhere......now it is right in our backyard so it's super convenient for us when he plays out there!

    Wednesday I worked at Johansens and then went to the gym.  Blake called me on the way home and said he had a big surprise.  When I got home he showed me the surprise his bosses got him.....

They got us the BOB jogging stroller I've been dying for, we are sooo lucky!  I still can't believe I really have one!!!

That night we made homemade pizzas and relaxed around the house.

    Thursday I didn't have to go to work because it was the Utah Dental Convention.  Most every dental person in the states attends (hygienists, assistants and doctors) because its a fast easy way to get your continuing education credits.  I always really look forward to going because it's a chance to see all my old hygiene friends and catch up on life.  You also run into a bunch of friends from previous jobs and such.  The classes were great but as usual lunch was the best part haha!  A bunch of friends from school all met up and went to Blue Lemon.  It's amazing how much life changes for everyone from year to year!

That night Blake and I went to dinner at Hires and then to Laurens to pick up her totes of old baby cloths.  Jamyn and I are so lucky because we get the cutest hand-me-downs from our awesome sister-in-laws!

    Friday I had UDA again.  This time our friends went to Cheesecake Factory in between.  It was another great year of UDA and so fun catching up with everyone!  That night we met Pres and Jamyn for dinner at California Pizza Kitchen and it was delicious!  We all headed back to our house after and Jamyn and I sorted through all the baby cloths while the boys watched a war movie.  It was overwhelming and took forever but I can't wait to see my little girl in some of those cute outfits!!!

    Saturday morning Blake helped me finish sorting through the last of the boxes and then I headed to the gym while he went to the Utah vs Cal rugby game.  We met up after at Fashion Place Mall.  Cute Chase went to the rugby game with Blake and wanted to hang with us the rest of the night.  We were tending Payten and he was such a great helper while we shopped!

 After a long day of shopping we headed to Laurens and had dinner with the fam.  The kids were in heaven playing with Payten and she loved all the attention!  I can wait to watch our little girl playing with all her cute cousins!

    Today we're just lounging and getting ready for church.  It was another great week!

Happy Birthday Lauren

   Monday I worked at Focus and then went to the gym.  That night Blake and I met his boss and his cute fam for dinner at Wild Zuchinni.  They have the cutest kids on the planet and it was super fun.  We went to their house after to watch Bachelor.  I got to hold their sweet baby girl while we watched and I was in total heaven! Ah I can't wait to snuggle my little love!!!!

    Tuesday I worked at Johansen and then went to the gym.  The night I went to Old Spaghetti Factory with some hygiene friends for a continuing ed class.  It was a great class and fun to see everyone.

    Wednesday I worked at Johansen and then went to the gym.  Blake and I went to dinner at Apollo and then hung-out at his parents until everyones flights came back from Florida.  They were late flights so it was a long night but we were so happy to see everyone!

    Thursday I worked at Focus and then went to the gym.  There was a consignment sale for baby stuff that I stopped by for a bit but it was pretty picked over by the time I got there.  Blake and I were exhausted from the late night so we just had a lazy night around the house and it felt so good!

    Friday morning I went to piano and then to my doctors appointment.  I get so excited for my appointments.......except the getting on the scale part haha!  I always love getting to hear my little girls heartbeat!  After the appointment I headed to meet my girlfriend Alisha and her cute kiddos for lunch at Zupas.  I love her and always have fun catching up!  I headed to Laurens after and watched her kids while she ran some errands.  They are the cutest and I always have so much fun with them!

That night Blake and I started brainstorming ideas for the nursery.  We had a BBQ and Blake made my favorite, pineapple chicken.....it is to die for!  Between the two of we ate an entire pineapple, mmmm Costco always has the best produce!

    Saturday morning I woke up and couldn't stop crying.  I had a dream about Grandpa D and it seemed soooo real.  We were having a BBQ at my moms.  He was there but he was perfect again (no memory problems or pain).  He was so excited we were having a baby.  I told him what I was naming the baby and that I wanted the middle name to be after him and he was so excited and happy.  It was such a great dream but I was sad when I woke up and remembered that it was only a dream.  I still miss him so much and wish he could meet my little girl but I know he was the one that sent this sweet girl down to our family.  It was so nice outside and I was dying to do something outside!  I called Whit and we headed to Liberty Park to go rollerblading.....yes I said rollerblading haha!  I know its a dorky thing to do but it is my favorite thing EVER!  We pushed Spencer in the stroller and it was heaven!  I've got major spring fever!  I plan on doing that a lot this summer!  We headed to Zupas after for lunch and met my cousin Les there.  My mom and her siblings were at another table trying to figure somethings out with my grandparents house etc.  After lunch we all headed to Grandma's house to clean things out.  There are so many great memories in that house and with all their things. We cried and laughed a lot!  I got to take a few little sentimental things and I got some fun decorations for the baby's room!  That night we surprised Lauren at Market Street for a birthday dinner with just adults.  It was such a fun night and the food was to die for.  I love Lauren so much and I'm so grateful to have her for a sister in law.  She is the most self-less woman and is such a great example to everyone around her.  I hope I can be half the mother she is someday!  We all stayed and laughed and talked forever, such a great night!

    Sunday we went to church and then headed to Sandy's for a birthday dinner for Lauren.

Girls Weekend

    Monday I worked at Focus and then went to the gym.  That night I went to dinner at Cafe Rio with a bunch of my Africa girlfriends.  Lots has changed since our last dinner....1 has had a baby and 4 of us are pregnant, so crazy!!!  Love those girls so much!

    Tuesday I worked at Johansen and then went to the gym.  That night we grabbed dinner with Sandy and Pres at Applebees and then went to Hale theater with them to see Les Miserables.  They always do an amazing job and this was no exception, WOW!!!!  I love that story so much and they did a phenominal job!

    Wednesday I worked at Johansens and then went to the gym.  That night we went to Blake's championship flag football game and they won!!!!! Love my awesome athlete! He is the best!!! The only thing that could have made the win better was having his brother there, Preston wasn't able to make the game and they really missed him!

 Blake's last championship game win was the first time we hung out (the YSA boating activity).  I joined him and his fam for dinner at El Chihuahua after.  I was wet and cold after boating and so Blake let me borrow his championship shirt he'd won that day to stay warm.  I still have it and it reminds me of the day my stars were changed:)

    Thursday I worked at Focus and then went to the gym.  After Blake got off work we went to the temple, last day of the month haha cutting it close!  It was wonderful as always.  We went out to Zupas after for dinner.  We spent the rest of the night snuggling by the fire catching up on the Bachelor.

    Friday morning I went to the gym and then my cute visiting teachers came over.  So grateful to have cute women like to make me feel so welcome in the new ward!  I packed an overnight bag and headed to meet my mom, grandma, Whit, Kesh and the kids for lunch at Apollo.  Blake went on a boys trip snowmobiling with Nick and Eddie so all us girls decided to have a girls weekend (but Kesh headed to Vernal that night to see her fam because she doesn't get the chance to make it up there often).  After lunch my mom and I went to Pottery Barn and scoped out all the fun things for a nursery!  That night we went to the Utah gymnastics with Whit and her kids.  The kids were in heaven and it was so fun!

 We went to dinner after at Red Butte.  I haven't been there in a long time and it totally hit the spot!

    Saturday morning mom and I met Whit at the gym.  After we all got ready we headed to City Creek  We grabbed a yummy lunch in the food court and the kids played in the play area.

 We spent the rest of the day shopping and trying to find some maternity cloths for me.  We looooove City Creek, it feels like your on vacation in another state!

That night I got to watch Lisa's little girl Haven and it was so fun she is the sweetest!  Whit and I made dinner and then watched a movie with the kids.  Sadie was in heaven, she is going to be the best helper with my little one!

    This morning we had a relaxing day around the house.  It's so fun being around the cute kids so much, love them!  Now we're just getting ready to head to church with my mom.  Blake is on the road heading home and I can't wait to see him!!!
