Blake had to run something to Pres and Sandy's and the only greeting he got from the Izzy and Mers was where is the baby haha! He had to bring them over so they could hold the baby again!
My mom is the only other person on the planet that loves steamers as much as I do, so I gave her a stir stick (thanks to my girlfriend Tanisha). This little stir stick is the greatest thing ever and makes to yummiest foamy drinks ever! The kids loves when Grandma makes them foamy drinks now too!
When we got home we had to jump in the h-tub before bed, if you haven't noticed we're kinda obsessed!Monday I worked at Dr. Sands and then went to boot camp. I tell everyone how amazing this class is and try to get friends to come join in on the fun. My friend Kelsi surprised me and came to suffer through boot camp with me. It was so fun having her there. You curse the teacher the whole class because you push yourself soooo hard but at the end you are wasted and are super proud of yourself, it's totally addicting! I went home and picked Blake up and we met Mike, Alisha and Savannah for dinner at Ichibon (a new sushi place that opened across the street from Red Ginger). Their sushi is also half priced and tastes amazing! We had fun chatting, ate waaaaay too much and loved every minute of it! Blake and I went to see 21 Jump Street after.
Tuesday I worked at Dr. Johansens and then went to the gym. Blake had his first young men's activity that night. It was a combined YM/YW activity and so I thought I'd tag along and get to know the young women since I'll be at camp with them! We went to the food bank and then to Nielson custard. It was a fun evening. We got home pretty late and were both starving. We made homemade alfredo (a skinny recipe) with chicken, broccoli and fresh tomatoes.......it was AMAZING! Wow a meal that finally turned out, I was pretty proud!!!! We got in the hot tub to celebrate our accomplishment haha!
Wednesday morning I was starting to feel a little sick but I went to the gym before work because we had a busy night planned. I worked at Dr. Johansens. When Blake and I got home we grabbed a quick bite and then headed to the temple for ward temple night. I was starting to feel much more sick and got super car sick driving to the temple. I was nervous during the whole session that I was going to puke.....thank goodness I was able to hold it in! Sick or not, I always love being in the temple with my sweet husband! On the way home my husband knew just what to do to make me feel better. He got me a giant Diet Coke at McDonalds
We took that and edamame out while we soaked in the h-tub listening to Pandora.....life doesn't get better than that!
Thursday morning I woke up and was feeling worse. I worked at Dr. Dastrup's and it was the longest day ever. I had the worst sinus pressure (it felt like my eyes were going to pop out of their sockets), achy, and a little nauseous. I was sad I couldn't go to the gym after work but I needed my bed asap! I took a power nap and then headed to the ward for our first girls camp meeting. The stake put on the most awesome presentation to get us pumped up. Our theme this year is Cowgirl Up. I can't wait for camp, it's gonna be a blast!!! When I got home I was feeling horrible! Ryan Bailey (one of Blake's closest rugby friends) was in town from California. He came by to visit for a bit. It was so fun seeing him and hearing about his new job! I had to hit the hay a bit early because I was feeling so crappy. My sweet husband tried to help me but there wasn't much he could do, I just needed to try and sleep it off.
Thank goodness I didn't have to work on Friday so I was able to take it easy all day. By about 2 I was getting a bit stir crazy (I don't sit around very well). I attempted going to the gym and just walked slow on the eliptical. I overheated fast and so I didn't stay too long. I had to run and grab a few things at the store. When I got home I was exhausted and not feeling too red hot. My hubs snuggled me for a bit and then we got in the hot tub to relax my muscles, it felt so good. We grabbed dinner at Cafe Rio that night and then met Pres and J to see Hunger Games. We got our tickets ages ago. We have been counting down for the movie to finally start!
It definitely did not disappoint and Blake already wants to see it again!
Saturday morning we slept in and relaxed for a bit in the morning. I was feeling a lot better but still not 100%. Whit and my mom wanted to check out City Creek and I didn't wanna get left behind so they let me come even though I was still a little sick. I wasn't allowed to hold Spencer which was like torture for me! We had soooo much fun. I seriously felt like I was in California at that mall. I can't believe what an amazing job they've done! It was packed with people and I kept running into people I knew around every turn! It was great with all the live music and fun things for the kiddos.
The view facing the temple is amazing!
We loved window shopping at the crazy expensive stores! We had a delicious Greek lunch at the food court. The Forever 21 was amazing and we tried on cloths forever. I finally got myself some colored skinnies WOOT WOOT (I've been dying to get some forever). I even got Kath to get a pair of black skinnies and they looked AMAZING on her!!!
The weather was perfect and we had waaaay too much fun together! I have so much fun playing with my fam, they are my best friends in the world, I am so lucky!!!!! Blake, Preston, Jake and Jimmy had a boys day golfing at Thanksgiving Point while we were shopping. They came home with half their faces sunburned and the biggest smiles ever. Blake hasn't golfed since Thanksgiving and was going crazy! That night we set up Thretton with a girlfriend I work with, Raissa. Jamyn had drill so Pres came along with us. We planned to go the the REAL SLC game but it was sold out so we had a change of plans. We grabbed dinner at Black Bear Diner (one of our favs). It was packed because it was a Saturday night but it was tasty! We went back to our house after and the boys got in the h-tub and we all sat outside and chatted. It was a lovely evening! This morning Blake had his first 7 am meeting. I told him it's his own fault for being too awesome. If he was just a little less righteous and not so amazing then they wouldn't give him big callings where he has to go to meetings haha! I have a feeling my husband has got a lot of big callings ahead because he's basically the most amazing guy I have ever met and does way too great of a job in everything he does! He taught for the first time in young men's and I had to talked to the young women about girls camp. We have so many cute girls and I can't wait to get to know them better! After church Blake had to go help with fast offerings. Now we're just relaxing for a bit. We get to go have dinner with the Bailey's tonight (Ryan's parents). We adore their sweet family and can't wait to see them!!!
