Moving On....

Big news for the Miller fam, we're moving!!!  It was totally out of the blue but this house kinda fell into our laps and we just couldn't pass it up.  Last Sunday was a tough day for both Blake and I.  We announced to our ward that we're moving.  To say we've loved our neighborhood would be the understatement of the century!  We've made so many new friends here that we absolutely adore.  We've also had so much fun working with the youth at church and will miss all of them so much!  Saying goodbye is no fun at all!  The good news is that we've found a really great house out in West Jordan and we are really excited about it.  Everything happened so suddenly and now we have 2 weeks to clean and fix up the new house so we can move it.  We're keeping our current house and using it as a rental.  We've met a few of the neighbors as we've been over at the new house working and they seem really nice.

Monday I worked at Focus and then Blake and I went out to the new house to see the paint.  It turned out awesome and we were really excited!  We spent the rest of the night out there cleaning away!

Tuesday I worked at Dr Johansens and then went to the gym.  That night it was finally time for Tarzan.  Ever since I was little I knew my dad was the real Tarzan.......he had to be, he had the BEST Tarzan yell on the planet and his license plate said METARZN.  When we found out Hale Theater was doing Tarzan we all decided tickets would be the perfect Father's Day gift.  We waited forever for the show to finally get it.  It was DEFINITELY worth the wait, such an amazing show!
The awesome gorillas
B-man showing Tarzan how its really done!!!! It was EPIC!
 The real Tarzan and Jane
Everyone came and it was a blast!

Wednesday morning I went to the gym and then worked at Dr. Johansens.   After work we had young womens.  The girls came over to my house and we frosted sugar cookies and went to heart attack our cute beehive advisor Sammi.  She had a baby a little while ago and so it was super fun to see her!  I will really miss hanging out with my sweet girls on Wednesday nights!   After ym and yw we headed out to the house to see the new carpet and it looked AWESOME and felt sooo squishy!  Things are coming together and we are soo excited!
 Glorious!
The classy blue carpet that the whole house was covered in.....

Thursday I worked at Focus and then went to the gym.  It was an early day so I headed straight out to the house for the rest of the afternoon and cleaned like a madwoman.  Blake had a flag football game that night in West Jordan.  As usual they dominated, they are the best!
We grabbed some Panda Express after and headed back to the house for some more cleaning.  In the bathtub drain we found a pearl necklace, a name license plate keychain, and all sorts of other awesome things haha!

Friday morning I had piano and then I switch my parents cars so that I could have a big car to start moving stuff.  I went to the gym and then spent the rest of the day cleaning at the house.  When Blake got off work he came out to meet me and clean.  Cute Nicole brought us dinner and came to clean for a bit.
Parks was such a good helper
BAAAAKE GET IT!  Poor Parker dropped his ball down the air vent, he was the saddest!

Saturday morning we woke up early and got started working right away.  We loaded both our cars and a trailer.  It is so weird to see rooms getting empty at our house!  We headed out to the new house and started unloading in the nice clean rooms.  It was quite comical watching Blake and I carrying the big heavy things.  I got a major laughing attack when trying to move our old mattress.  It was insanely heavy and smelled awesome and I fell over and almost peed my pants I was laughing so hard.  I think I scared the neighbors and they rushed over to see if I was ok and helped Blake up the stairs with the mattress haha!
I told Blake if he'd vaccuum out my airvents he could keep whatever he found......BIG MISTAKE haha!!!!  I thought people only did that in the movies, but no someone literally hid this bad boy in the air vent!
We worked our butts off all day and got so much done.  We were exhausted at the end of the day but we were totally pumped with the progress we made!  To celebrate our hard work we grabbed take out from Cafe Rio and went to see Beach Boys at Sandy Amphitheater.  They did a great job and it was the perfect way to end the night!

Monday morning I went to the gym and then went golfing with Sandy and the boys at Thanksgiving Point.  It was a gorgeous day!

We headed home Saturday late afternoon and I was so excited to get back to the cute hubby!

Sunday we just did stuff around the house but I was just glad to be back home with Blake!  That night we had a little BBQ with some of my old college friends from Ventana.  It was so fun to catch up with everyone!  It crazy how much everyone's lives have changed in just a few years!
