Snowmobiling

Last Sunday Lauren had us out for dinner.  Our friend, Christian, from Germany is in town for the next 3 months.  He is working for the church and has a special training here in Salt Lake.  We are SOOO excited he is here with us!  He came with us to dinner and we had a lot of fun!  How lucky we are to have such great family that always makes sure we're taken care of!

Monday I worked at Focus Dental and then went running.  That night Blake's parents got home from Cabo and so we went to the airport to pick them up.  We were glad to see their tan faces!!!  We grabbed some dinner and then went to Pres and Sandy's to watch Bachelor.

Tuesday I worked at Dr. Johansen's and then went running again.  I love when I can run outside, its my favorite!  We had some new neighbors move in the neighborhood that are our age.  This may not seem like a big deal haha but it's epic.....first couple our age without kids since we've moved in!  We dropped by to say hello and to see their house.  They're in the middle of a remodel and it brought back a lot of memories.  They are great and we are so glad to have them in the neighborhood!  That night Blake and I drove to Orem to see Lisa.  Poor Logan had night school, so he couldn't join us, but it was still a lovely night!  I love my Lisa Friend!!!  When we got home we watched Bachelor round 2, I love getting 2 episodes in one week!

Wednesday I went to the gym before work and then worked at Dr. Johansens.  That night we had an etiquette dinner for young mens and womens.  Blake was my date for the evening and we laughed our heads off all night.  We have the greatest group of leaders that keep every activity extremely entertaining!  Blake went to play basketball with Preston and some friends after and I played piano.

Thursday I worked at Focus Dental and then went to the gym.  That night we celebrated my dad's birthday.  We tried a new restaurant, Agave, and it was really yummy.  My dad was in heaven having the whole family together having fun.  It was a perfect night!
Me and the birthday boy, he loves dressing up haha!
All the kids needed a turn with the birthday sombrero!
Instead of birthday cake or ice cream they brought out a bunch of churros.  The kids were heaven.....especially Spencer, he sucked that thing like a binky!

Friday morning I went to piano.  I learned a new song Blake really wanted me to learn, Give In To Me.  It's recently become one of "our songs" and we are both a little obsessed with it!  After piano I went to the gym.  I ran by my grandparents to visit them and see their new place.  They were in the middle of a game of bingo with all their friends and I didn't want to interupt.  Bingo is their FAV and it brought back a lot of good memories watching them.  I remember when I was little they'd always take me to play Bingo when they'd stay at Snowbird over Labor Day.  I watched them for a bit and then peeked into their new room.  The room is super nice and I think this move is going to be really nice for them!  They will keep really busy with all the fun activities!  I went home after, did some laundry and packed our bags for the weekend.  When Blake got home we headed to his parents to pack up the car.  Eric and Aubrey met us at his parents (some of our good friends) and we picked up Christian on our way out of town.  The weather was a crazy blizzard and Pop accidentally missed the turnoff so our drive was an extra 2 hours....whoopsies!  We finally got to the cabin a little after one and were all very exhausted!  Blake and I brought our awesome Valentine's Day Gift and it was awesome!

We woke up at the crack of dawn so we wouldn't miss out on one second of snowmobiling.  Aubrey and I had sweet one piece suits......I know you're jealous!!!
Poor Sandy hurt her back in Cabo so she couldn't come, we really missed her!
It was a blizzard the whole time which made visibility a little tricky but the powder was insane!
Blake LOVES to play on his snowmobile!
Mesa Falls with Eric and Aubrey
Us with Pop and Christian, such a gorgeous view!
Me, Blake and Pop in front of the lake.
We were having so much fun and before we knew it was 3 and we were starving.  We met Sandy for a very late lunch at Pond's Lodge and it was great.  We rode for a little bit after.  Of course right before we finished the skies finally cleared haha.  In spite of the weather we still had an amazing time!

We woke up pretty early Sunday morning so we could clean up and hit the road to make it home in time for all the birthday festivities.  Both Spencer's and Macie's birthdays were that night.  It was gorgeous weather for the drive home and we really didn't want to leave!  We went straight to Whit's to party with them.  I still can't believe it's been a whole year since Spencer was born.  I can't imagine life without that sweet little guy but WOW the time has flown by!
Whit made this adorable cake
Sadie helping Spencer open his present
Spencer got his own Utah jersey with Daddy's old #
 So pumped about presents!
After eating some dinner we hit the road and headed out to Lauren's to party with Macie.  She turned 4 but is actually going 16!  She has so much attitude and always keeps us laughing!  I love being all together with all the Miller kids.  There are SO many and they are the cutest in the whole world!!!!
Macie trying on her new necklace we got her
 crazy cousins
 Love my Macie girl!

This morning I worked at Focus Dental.  It was a crazy day and I was exhausted when I finally got off.  I got off pretty late and then headed to the gym.  After my workout I came home to dishes done and hot dinner on the table.  My husband is the best!!!

Heli Skiing

Sunday Blake and I went to visit Grandpa for a bit.  He's doing better but it's still hard to see him struggling with his memory so much.  After our visit there we headed to the hospital to get some snuggles with baby Payten.  The boys were there too and we all loved holding that sweet girl!

Monday was my first day at my new job, Focus Dental.  I was super nervous but it went so well! I didn't think it was possible but I've found another amazing office that I feel totally at home at.  Everyone was so nice to me and I had a perfect first day!  After work I went to boot camp and it kicked my butt!  That night I met up with some girlfriends from hygiene school for a yummy Thai dinner.  It was fun to chat and hold Ashlee's sweet new babes!   When I got home Blake and I watched Bachelor.

Tuesday I worked at Dr. Johansens.  It was a late day at work so I didn't get to work out, I hate days like that!  I went straight to young mens/womens with Blake.  We took dinner up to a group of kids with cancer up at Gorgoza sledding park.  We underestimated the size of the group and so food was tight but everything worked out in the end.  We got in the hot tub for a bit before going to bed.

Wednesday I worked at Dr. Johansens and then went to boot camp again.  That night we took Thai food out to Grammy with Preston and Jamyn.  It was fun to sit and chat with grammy.  She is doing so well, I can't believe how far she's come!  When we got home Blake gave me my Valentine's Day gift early because it was too big to try and hide.  He got me a beautiful bouquet and a sleeping bag for two! I've been wanting a double bag for so long and I can't wait to try it out soon!

Thursday was Valentine's Day.  I had my second day at Focus Dental and it went really well again.  When I got home I went running and it felt so good.  Nothing makes you feel as good as a nice run!  When Blake came home from work we went to dinner at Epic.  The food was to die for and we had so much fun.  They had a musician there that made the night even that much better!  He even played one of our songs, Give In To Me.

After dinner we met Pres and Jamyn at the theater to see Safe Haven.  I love me a good chick flick!  What a great Valentine's Day!

Friday morning I went for another run.  I spent the rest of the day with Kesh and my sweet little Payten, o I love that little one!  She was even wearing the cute new outfit I got her!
 We had twiner leggings!
I ran some errands while Kesh and that baby took naps.  Later that night Blake and I took Cafe Rio over to their house and got some more holding time in.

Saturday morning it was finally time for Blake and I's heli-skiing trip.  We bought it at a silent auction a few months ago and have been dying to go ever since!  It was a gorgeous day without a cloud in the sky.  The snow was amazing and we were in heaven.  Riding in the helicopter was half the fun!
You would not believe how small the areas were that the heli would land, it was incredible!
We tried to take a picture with the heli landing with us in it.......bad idea, that things kicks up some serious snow!!!
Finally got one together!
We had 8 people in our group and they were all awesome!
We were completely exhausted in the end but it was an epic day we will NEVER forget!!!
So sleepy.....
They had a private chef that made an amazing gourmet lunch at the end and mmmm it was tasty!
When we got home we got in the hot tub and had a nice relaxing night.

This morning we had early meetings for church and now we're just getting ready to head to dinner at Lauren's.

Baby Payten Is Finally Here!!!

Baby Payten kept tricking us all week.  We all thought Kesha was going to have this little girl early so we started planning on Kesh's birthday, Feb. 1.  Blake and I offered to take the boys if anything happened in the middle of the night since we live closest.  We packed overnight bags and didn't sleep very well with all the anticipation!  We wanted to meet our sweet baby girl!!!!

Monday was my last day at Dr. Sands office.  It was a sad day.  I've had so much fun working there the last 2 years.  I've been working with some amazing girlfriends and a great boss.  Change is never easy, especially when you leave something so awesome behind!  Our awesome Dr took us out for a goodbye lunch at Zupas and it was delicious!
After work I went to boot camp and it kicked my booty!  Sandy, Preston and Jamyn came over to our house and we had superbowl leftovers and watched Bachelor, our guilty pleasure!

Tuesday I worked at Dr. Johansens.  After work it was pretty nice outside so I decided to go for a run.  I noticed a hole in my brand new shoes so Blake and I went to Scheels that night to exchange them.  Of course we couldn't leave without stopping by Costco too........that corner of the valley is my husbands favorite....Scheels, Costco and Larry Miller Auto Mall (we literally have to drive through the parking lot everytime so he can show me his dream truck, juuuuust incase I forget haha).  That night we had a little BBQ at home!  Lucky for us Bachelor was on twice this week so we got to watch it while we ate our yummy dinner.

Wednesday I worked at Dr. Johansens and then went to boot camp.  I had young womens that night and we did the cutest little craft.  The girls made "engagement cans".  The put a bunch of things about their dream fiance/wedding/future family in a can and then we are going to seal them up and then they will open them when they get engaged.  I wish I would have had something like that, so cute!  I love hanging out with those cute girls, they are the best!

Thursday was my last day at Dr. Dastrup's, another tough goodbye.  Although the drive sucked, I've loved working there so much.  You couldn't find a sweeter dentists and staff.  We were a little family and I am going to miss them sooooo much!  Dr. D took us to lunch at Pizza Factory and it was really fun.
Kaylee surprised me at the end of the day with my favorite sugar free popsicles, she is the best!
That night we met up with Pres and Sandy for our temple night.  We were going to go to SLC temple but remember that last year it was about this time of year that we tried SLC and it was closed for cleaning.  We looked online and sure enough it was closed.  We decided to go to Draper instead.......only to pull into an empty parking lot haha!!!  Who knew they'd close more than one temple at a time for cleaning, whoopsies.  Do you still get credit for attempting temple night?!?  We decided we'd still at least go out to dinner.  We went to Texas Roadhouse and it was a really fun night.

Friday morning I went to piano.  I can't even explain how much fun it is to be back!  I've missed it soooo much!  After piano I went to the gym and then to a training to learn how to use the lasers at my new office.  It's a bit overwhelming but I've got lots of cute people to help me learn everything!  I met up with my sweet girlfriend Alisha and her babe Savy for lunch at Cafe Normandie.  The food was good but the company was even better!  Love me some girls lunch:)!  I met up with Blake after and we did some Valentine's shopping.  We did laundry and a few things around the house and then met up with Whit, Eddie and the kids for dinner at Rubios.  We ended the night at Pres and Sandy's to say goodbye before they headed off to Cabo lucky ducks!

Saturday we were supposed to go heli-skiing but because of the storm they cancelled and reschedule for next weekend.  Blake still went up to ski.  I was too excited about baby girl Scott.  Kesha was scheduled to be induced if she hadn't gone into labor.  The hospital took FOREVER to call but finally she got to go in around 1:30.  We watched the boys while they went to the hospital.  The boys wanted to hot tub and so that was a perfect distraction, they were soooo excited to meet baby Payten.  We stayed in 1 1/2 hours and we were all total prunes!
It was perfect h-tubbing weather, freezing outside and super warm in the water.  We showered, got ready and watched some cartoons.  We kept getting updated from Nick and my mom.  The boys were starving so we headed to the hospital to have dinner because we both love the cafeteria at IHC.  My parents and Kesha's mom and sister were there too so we all ate together.  The baby was here but they were moving Kesh to her room and doing a few things with the baby.
It was a rough day for Kesha but she was a champ and did AMAZING!  It's crazy what a loving mom will go through for her baby!  Payten tried coming out hand first and made things a bit interesting for a while.  Thankfully Kesh had an amazing Dr, Dr Terry and things worked out well and both mom and baby are healthy and happy.  We were all chomping at the bit to get up and see Kesh and our new baby girl!  Finally it was time........
First the boys wanted a big hug from mom!
As you can see these are 2 pretty proud big brothers!!!
These boys love their new baby girl!
We couldn't get enough of holding her and staring at her
This is our 14 niece/nephew :), love our lives and all these little cuties!
The boys, Nick even wore pink for the occasion!  There's gonna be a lot more pink in their house now!
Poor Sadie was devastated because she couldn't come to the hospital.  Only siblings under 14 were allowed because of the flu going around.  She was hyterical when Whit left and the only way Whit could console her was by promising to face time when she got to the hospital.  It was one of the highlights of the night.  She was so excited and giggly.  She kept talking to Payten and telling us how cute was.  She wanted to feel like she was a part of everything and so she had to talk to everyone in the room haha, even Kesh.  That girl kills me, I love her!
When the nurses took Payten to the nursery Easton had to say goodbye and show her his awesome toy (baby Payten gave her brothers Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle toys).
We had to go down to the nursery because we couldn't keep our eyes of our new baby girl.  Easton was blowing her kisses haha.
When we left the boys wouldn't leave until they got kisses from mom and baby sister.  They went home with Kesh's mom.  The roads were a bit crazy with all the snow but we thankfully made it home safe and sound.  I'm so glad we have another beautiful healthy baby in our family.  How blessed we are to have all these cute kids to make life so fun!

This morning we went to church.  Both of us had to teach so we did some last minute preparation together before we headed off.  Now we're just getting ready to go visit Grandpa and get some baby snuggles in!
