First I'll give you the current pregnancy update.....
How Far Along: 4 months
Baby Size: The size of an avocado, 5 inches and 3 oz
How I am feeling: Still feeling great, pants are getting a bit tight around the tummy but I'm still able to wear them with and hair tie to help give me a little extra space!
Weird Cravings: Still just anything salty and I hate to admit it but I usually have to get fast food (usually an Arbys sandwich or KFC mashed potatoes) right before or after I go to the gym.....can't go long without food
Major Milestones We've Hit: FINDING OUT GENDER!!!! Also some fun baby facts: the baby's ears are now developed enough to hear and so I love to practice piano and sing even more now! Baby has formed unique toe and finger prints and even has eyebrows and eyelashes!
Pregnancy has been one of the most fun and exciting things ever! I love getting my weekly baby updates. I can't believe how fast everything happens and how my body know exactly how to do each thing! I love my little miracle and cannot wait to be a mom, until then I'm going to keep enjoying my pregnancy:)!
Last Monday was Presidents day we were still tending Nicole's cute kids. I ran to the gym in the morning and then Blake went skiing with Preston and his dad while I watched the kids. I took the kids to my house and then helped me clean my house and get treats ready for the gender reveal party. That night Grammy wanted to take the kids out to dinner so we met her at Marie Callendars.
It was such a fun night. She is the best Grammy and the kids adore her, I can't wait to watch my little one with her!
Tuesday I worked at Dr. Johansen's. I was getting my ultrasounds after work and so it was the LONGEST day ever!!!! After worked I met Blake at the Dr's office. We told our doctor we didn't want to know the gender and so she wrote it down on a piece of paper and sealed it in an envelope for us (they said baby was cooperating and they got a very clear view of the gender). We got to see the rest of the baby during the ultrasound and it was magical! There is nothing more amazing than watching this baby move around inside of you. I can't believe how developed everything is and how much it moves, and I still can't even feel a thing! I could have stayed there all day watching! After the ultrasound Blake took the sealed envelope to Zurchers and they filled a box with the correct color silly string (they took off the lids so we had to idea what color they were). I headed home and finished getting the house all ready for the festivities, my heart was racing and I couldn't stand the anticipation!!!
Everyone had to pick a side and wear the color that they thought the baby was....
We have the most amazing and supportive family that always come to everything!
The kids table
Baby Payten really wanted it to be a girl so she can finally have a girl cousin to play with!!!
Even my amazing best friend Lisa drove up.....Baby Haven also really want a girlfriend to be BFF with!!
Tallying the votes...
All the Grandparents and Grammy guessed boy
Blake and I got ready separately and both wore pink:)
Getting the kids lined up and ready for the big reveal!!!!
We gave each kid a can of silly string and on the count of 3.......
They all shot us! It was one of the most exciting moments of my life and I couldn't stop smiling and screaming!!!! I was beyond excited to see the pink spray out, A LITTLE GIRL!!!
I couldn't stop kissing Blake, he gave me a little girl!!!!!!
The thing that make me more excited than anything is watching my sweet husband melt as he holds his little princess. There is nothing like watching a daddy with his daughter. I know my little girl will be a total daddy's girl because she has the greatest dad in the whole world!!!
Lisa and Haven were the happiest!!!!!
Yay Jamyn totally knew. She had a dream before Eleni was born and knew she was a girl. Then we we were both pregnant she had a dream that we were taking pictures of her little boy and Eleni was holding a little girl so she guessed boy for her and girl for us. BINGO she's the best guesser ever!
So there we have it, fab 4 having a boy and girl! Couldn't be more perfect!!!
The pink crew that guessed right.....yes Sandy brought of change of cloths just in case it was a girl haha!!!
Our baby's amazing grandparents
The kids were pumped
Of course both our cute moms brought our first baby gifts! My mom brought Costco sized box of diapers and baby shampoo and I know we'll be going through lots of both of those! Sandy brought our first baby girl gift, some cute baby socks/shoes and a headband. This is going to be one spoiled baby girl!
Wednesday I worked at Johansen and then went to the gym. I met up with some of the old Johansen crew for dinner at La Costa. I miss our old group of ladies and so it feels great to be together again! Blake had a flag football game that night and they won woot woot!
Thursday I worked at Focus and then went to the gym. We were going to go to the temple that night but I was exhausted and had the worst headache so we grabbed dinner at Zupas. We headed home after and had a lazy night at the house.
Friday morning I went to piano and then to the gym. I headed to Grandma's after and had lunch with her at her place. It's always nice seeing her and getting to spend time with her. It amazes me how she forgets so much but she still remembers Grandpa and that he passed away. She kept talked about how much she misses him, it breaks my heart. I still can't believe Grandpa is really gone but I truly believe he sent down this sweet baby girl to Blake and I. When I got home I did some much needed deep cleaning at our house....we had silly string tracked everywhere and cupcakes crumbs everywhere you look! That night we got to tend sweet Lola, I love that girl! Blake and I kept watching her and thinking how crazy it is to think that soon we will have a little girl running around our house everyday. We did learn that our house is definitely NOT baby proof and we'll have some major rearranging/baby proofing when this baby comes......Lola loved our tupperware drawer!
I was craving burgers so my sweet husband had a bbq for us that night. He was in heaven out at the grill, it's been WAY too long since our last bbq!!!
We were having way too much fun with Lola and kept her up way past her bedtime, whoopsies! It was such a fun night!Saturday I went to the gym and then headed to Lauren's to tend her girls while she ran some errands. Macie had our whole day planned out full of arts and crafts haha, she is the funniest!!!
First we made gingerbread men and women.....yes I know Christmas is over but Macie really wanted to make them!
Hadley mostly wanted to eat the decorations....and the cookie....
While Hadley slept Macie and I painted some lovely picture and made some owl puppets.
It was a great afternoon and I had so much fun with my girls! While I was with the girls Blake went to Nicole and Mikko's to play paintball. That night we went to the mall with Jamyn, Preston, Nicole and Mikko and grabbed dinner at Cheesecake Factory. The food was to die for and it was a great night!Sunday we went to the church and then rushed off to party with the birthday kids (Macie and Spencer have the same birthday).
I asked Blake to wrap Spencer's present......classy
We went to Whit and Eddie's first. The birthday boy, could he be cuter?!?! Happy Birthday Spencer You have brought so many smiles to our family and we are so grateful to have you. I don't think there is a sweet easier kid. You are always smiling and loves to be with everyone, you are so full of love and I can't get enough of you!
Cousins
Sooo excited for presents!
We got this basketball hoop for Spencer. Kesha has one at her house and it is Spencer's favorite. He could see the bottom of it due to Blake's lovely wrapping job and he kept asking for basketball. He was in heaven!!!
Baby Payten is literally the happiest baby on the planet, please let my baby be as happy as this sweetheart!!!
Spencer riding his new motorcycle
Whit made our favorite ice cream cone cupcakes but she decorated them soooo cute!!! Spencer is the best at blowing out candles!
This boy looooooves sugar mom than any child I've ever met!!!
After treats we rushed off to Macie's party. Cute Taylor made a duct tape purse for Macie (this picture doesn't do it justice, it turned out soooo amazing! I don't know how he did it!
Happy Birthday Macie Baby we love you! I don't think there is a girl on this planet that is girlier than you! You love your make-up and always look so cute! Your hair is to die for and I'd give anything for it! I love watching you with Hadley. You are the best big sister and are such a good helper. I can't wait to have you be a big helper with my little girl, I know she will idolize you!!!
It was a great night and so fun to celebrate these two kids we love so much! I still can't believe we finally know we're having a little girl. It finally is starting to feel real. I already love her more than anything!
