8 months and Celebrating With Friends!

How Far Along: 8 months

Baby Size:  19 inches and weighs about 4.5 pounds

How I Am Feeling: Still feeling good but getting hotter and hotter everyday!  My internal thermometer gets hot and and won't stop rising no matter what I do!  I'm feeling more of her body parts sticking out rather than kicks now.  I'm feeling like I get full a lot faster but still get hungry all the time!  I feel her head really heavy on my bladder and I feel like I need to pee all the time.....even right after I've just gone!  I'm getting braxton hicks contractions a lot but thankfully they don't hurt, they just feel a little weird!  Cankles........yes they are officially here.  My poor little feet are starting to swell up and it looks so weird to look down and not even recognize my own feet!

Major Milestones: We got to have another ultrasound and I'm absolutely smitten!  It was so fun watching her move around.  She was blinking her eyes moving her arms and legs all around.  She got the hiccups and it was so cute to watch her mouth move and her little body jump all while my belly jumped too!  I seriously could have stayed and watched her all day!

    Last Monday I worked at Focus and then met Blake for our lovely birthing class date night.  It was our first birthing class and it was way better than we thought it would be!  We first had a delicious dinner at the hospital cafeteria and then went to class.  Our teacher is awesome and makes the class so fun!  We saw how big 10 centimeters is.....wow.....that does not look pleasant!!!

    Tuesday I worked at Johansens and then went to the gym.  That night we went to Ashlie's wedding (Trav's sister).  It was a gorgeous wedding and the weather was perfect!  What a great day, we are so excited for her!

     Wednesday I worked at Johansens and then went to the gym.  That night Mike and Alisha came over with their kids for a bbq.  I LOVE summer bbqs more than anything!  So happy summer is here, it is my favorite!

    Thursday I worked at Focus and went to the gym.  I ran a few errands at the mall and then took a major nap.  I feel so lucky that I get to sit at my job because standing at the mall for 2 hours almost did me in!  Blake worked in the yard for a bit and then we stopped by Lauren and Trav's because Blake wanted to give Chase his present before he left town.  We gave him the cutest hat and he was super excited!

    Friday Blake woke up at the crack of dawn to work in the yard.  My friends were throwing my bridal shower at our house and he wanted everything to be perfect, he is the nicest!  I went to the gym but overheated big time and thought I was gonna pass out.  I took a break and got a drink but as soon as I started exercising again it came back.  I decided it wasn't worth pushing it so I walked right across the parking lot to barbacoa and sat in the lovely air conditioning and pounded an entire burrito, it was glorious.  I spent the rest of the day cleaning the house.  That night we had Chase's birthday party at a BMX race track.  Chase was in heaven and it was such a great party!

After his party I headed down to Provo for a going away party for Tori.  We will miss her so much and she better come back to visit!  We made some cute onsies for all the babies that are coming!

    Saturday morning I went to the gym and then got ready for my shower.  My cute friends Lisa, Ashlee and Alisha threw the shower for me and it was to die for!

While we were busy having girl time, Blake was enjoying a boys trip to Bear Lake.  The went horse back riding and loved every minute of it!

I met up with my mom while Blake was on his way home and we grabbed dinner at Pei Wei.  When we finished Blake was finally home.  Blake left the night before so I couldn't wait to have him back home so I didn't have to sleep alone again!
